Turn-based Tactical Combat

Slay your toppled enemies as they lay bleeding on the ground, or spare them as they surrender. Use hit and run tactics or form a firing line with ranged classes. It's up to you!

Handcrafted Battlefields

Every battlefield is 16 by 16 tiles large on a square grid. Hold a strong position above the enemy thanks to our vertical height system -- just make sure they can't jump up in pursuit.

Branching Story Web

Vindis Saga Tactics takes place over the course of an in-game week. Each campaign is unique based on which events you involve yourself; every NPC actor in the game can be slain at any time they appear, which radically changes the course of history.

Class Roles & Hybrids

Over twenty classes are at your disposal to mix and match ability sets and JRPG-style roles. Control zones using the Fighter, mix potions on the fly as the Alchemist, or combine both on one character for a unique experience!

Craft Economy

Use the auction house and crafting system to ensure your mercenaries are well-supplied!

Time System

Each day is split into four slices: morning, afternoon, evening, nighttime. Get a free camp period at midnight to recuperate!

Mature Political Story

Participate in power struggles alongside & against well-developed characters with believable motives, goals, and needs.

No lootboxes, no microtransactions, and no monetization features that feel unfair. We can't believe we even have to call this a feature!

Craft Economy

Aleria's economy is underpinned by crafters and auction houses, which churn through goods even when the player isn't participating. We hope as much as you do that there isn't a critical butter shortage. Or worse, cheese.

Time System

You have 7 days subdivided into 4 time slots to make your mark on the world. Every time you partake in an event, the time inexorably ticks forward one time slot. Rest for the weary occurs at the end of each day, allowing your hard-earned experience points to be spent on new skills at the encampment. Or perhaps you'd like to don new armor or switch classes! 

Mature Political Story

Each NPC character in the campaign is just as important as you, the player. They have their own distinct motives throughout the story and react to various opportunities and openings based on choices you make each passing day. Stand between them and their goals, and you may find that you've earned a fresh new enemy.
